Osama bin Laden Killed in Abottabad, Pakistan, MansionPresident Barack Obama announced tonight that Osama bin Laden, the founder and top leader of Al Qaeda, was killed by a U.S. military operation in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Bin Laden was staying in a mansion in a relatively urban area.Obama said the intelligence on bin Laden's location was obtained in August 2010 and the operation has been planned for months. Bin Laden was killed during a firefight with U.S. forces. No Americans were killed in the attack. UPDATE: We've Killed Bin Laden, What Happens Next?
