Rumbles Around Awakening
You may recall my
March post on the Awakening movement in which I commented on some of the looming (and unfortunately predictable) problems that our alliance with former Sunni insurgents. An Iraqi journalist last week echoed those concerns, with some added perspective (
Arabic,
English). Look for this issue to grow as the U.S. increasingly moves toward withdrawal.
